Villa, Cottage or Bungalow?

In Coorg these words are used loosely. At Amanvana every stay is a private, standalone bungalow with its own outdoor courtyard. The bungalows look onto gardens and their courtyards, not the river, and they do not have private pools. Guests share one outdoor pool with a waterfall, set in the gardens.

Step out to the Kaveri and its eight islands, the orchard with over 300 varieties of fruit trees, the Sunken Spa, and the river views from the Rainbow Room restaurant, the Coffee Hut and the reading nooks and hammocks along the riverbank. Nisargadhama is next door, and the Golden Temple is 15 minutes away.

Gentle on Nature

In the evenings we keep the lighting low so the birds around the resort can roost undisturbed. Food waste is turned into animal feed, rainwater is harvested, and we use tree-free paper.

Do the bungalows have river views?
The bungalows sit among gardens and trees, a short walk from the Kaveri. They look onto gardens and their own courtyards, not the river. For river views, head to the Coffee Hut, the Rainbow Room or the reading nooks on the riverbank.

Is there Wi-Fi in the bungalows?
Yes. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available in every bungalow and across the resort.
